What is mindful eating?

Mindful eating is a practice of paying full attention to the entire eating experience—including your senses, body signals, thoughts, and feelings—to promote healthier food choices and portion control. Instead of restricting calories, mindful eating helps you recognize hunger and fullness cues, identify emotional triggers for overeating, and enjoy food more, which can naturally lead to weight loss and a more balanced relationship with food. 

What is MBSR- training?

MBSR stands for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. MBSR-training is an 8-week, evidence-based mindfulness program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn. This program is developed to help people manage stress and improve their physical and psychological well-being. It teaches practical mindfulness meditation and movement practices, like sitting meditation and body awareness, to foster present-moment attention without judgment. The program has a strong scientific track record, providing benefits such as reduced stress, anxiety, and chronic pain. It is proven to increase focus, productivity, mental health and overall well-being.

What is Mindful Parenting?

Mindful parenting training teaches parents to be more attentive, compassionate, and non-judgmental in their interactions with their children by applying principles of mindfulness to parenting. The training combines techniques like guided meditation and present-moment awareness to help parents understand their own emotions, respond thoughtfully rather than impulsively, and foster a more supportive parent-child relationship.

Miss M is based out of Genoa, Liguria, Italy. Miss M also provides workshops in The Netherlands. We help individuals and families to add more mindfulness and balance into their lives by coaching and training projects.
